My father recently changed to a different cable company in order to take part of some great deals that have been recently promoted extensively in our area. Being in Canada we are pretty much tied into certain suppliers between Cogeco and Rogers (land line cable companies) and then Bell Expresvu and StarChoice (both sattelite cable companies). Being that some of our TV stations are American and some stations leave the American commercials in, I often get to hear about great Comcast cable deals that I cannot participate in. It seems that like your cell phone companies and plans, you definitely pay a lot less than us and get a lot more.
Currently Comcast cable offers various bundles (who doesn’t?). You can get phone, cable and internet for $99 per month on one monthly bill. I don’t know about you, but I bundle everything I can, less paper for one thing and less bills for me to remember to pay.
Comcast cable TV is digital, comes with up to 270 channels, parental controls, pay per view (I use this a lot, easier than getting dressed and going to the local video store!), interactive program guide, sports packages and of course music channels which are all commercial free.
My Dad? Very happy, he bundled all three. His only complaint? Having to learn where all his favourite channels are once again.
