So I went to Walmart today to look to see if I could buy some clothes that fit, maybe a skirt and a blouse or something. I hardly had winter clothes to wear and now with 20lbs off, everything fits so awfully!
I first tried on a large imitation leather jacket and I could do them up! They were a tad tight, another 10lbs and they’d probably fit perfectly, but in 10lbs, probably 2-3 weeks it will be winter and I love my winter jacket (though this will be the last year I can wear it). So that was one thing that had me happy this afternoon.
Then I saw a size 16 skirt, one that had a zipper, not elastic at the waist and held it to me…hmmm, it just might fit I thought to myself and grabbed it and took it to the changeroom with me. Hey! It’s fits! I can do the zipper up, no worries about it breaking and the skirt looks good! Happy Dance!
So of course then I start grabbing clothes left right and centre. I was at Walmart from 330pm to 515pm, lmao. I ended up buying 3 skirts, 1 sweater, 1 sweater-top that conforms right to me and doesn’t look half bad and a bra.
I’ve spoken about my size 14+ jeans – from the fit of the 16 skirt, I’d say these jeans are a 16. They were bought quite a few years ago in a large person’s clothing store. So I’m wearing a 16 jean and large/x-large shirts/sweaters.
Yay me! I am on such a high tonight :)
