Any day now I should be getting my renewal documents from my insurance company. They normally send it three months in advance which sometimes gets me in trouble as I then put the package aside and forget to grab the ‘pink slip’ (required paper for proof of insurance) and put it in my wallet when it actually renews and have received one ticket for not having it.
I want to give my broker a call as I have a few auto insurance questions regarding my policy and trying to bring the rate down. My two tickets (10km over and no proof of insurance) should have fallen off the table by now which should bring my insurance rates down.
When I got Buttercup (my smart car, pictured) my rates went up with the excuse of “if you get into an accident the whole car will have to be replaced”, I am hoping they have more statistics and my rate goes down some.
If not, I will be looking for a new broker and insurance company!
